In 2024 Prego  will celebrate 33 years on the road so there's likely to be some news coming soon to celebrate our 33 and a third years in existence!

 

Still continuing to tour and compose. Prego continue to play their vibrant take on European rootsmusic. Virtually all of their material written by band members, they've built an enviable reputation for great live performance. With two worldwide critically acclaimed albums behind them, live performances tinged with vigour, passion and above all genuine humour and friendship with audiences throughout the UK. They've played everything from 4 dates for Euro 96 to The Commonwealth games many many festivals, arts centres and numerous other events in the UK and EU . a great line up, still imbued with sun kissed Latin American rhythms blended with the tastes and sounds of Europe and a very unique UK drive. Always worth checking out, and its always a party when Prego are on stage. Currently a 6 piece band, also available as 3, 4 or 5 piece, and have played more festivals and events than we can possibly mention here....But hows about Towersey, Pontadawe, International Festival of the sea, Schotts festival (Belgium), Chesterfield May Day, Akkordeon Festival Vienna , Salzberg Festspiel , Wacklestein festival , Gosport, Eastleigh, Nottingham Riverside, etc. etc.
